Great menu and superior service. Lots of cold draft beers on the menu, the Blue Plate Specials make choosing one's meal easy and affordable.

Closed but web site says open....not good

Don't waste your time or money! Terrible service! Ordered and had to wait 50 minutes to get our food. They said sorry they were busy... they had a total of 7 people inside.. no excuse!

Service was excellent and crab legs were perfect!

Website says open at 1130. We arrived at 12 and the door says opens at 3pm. You need to update your site. So you don't waste peoples time.

Jim was the best part about this place except for the patio. He was so nice to us and really took great care of us. I’m slightly hesitant to speak of the flavor and freshness of the seafood, but the fried pork chops were so delicious. We were camping on the beach, so it was nice to get very full for pretty cheap. The upstairs patio had a lovely atmosphere and we could just see the World Cup from our spot outside.

Adult place. Lovely service, fresh and straight up deloicious seafood, good drinks (cheap, strong, selection). What's not love?

Really enjoyed this place. Our first night out on our girls trip was here and the drinks the food and bartenders everyone were so nice. And really enjoyed Mike (karaoke man) will go back.

Sea food is good but wish their service was faster and offer oyster openners

With all the fresh fish on the Island this was not.!! covered in greasy film.. grilled green beans were either canned or frozen not sure which . My only mistake was not sending the food back .

A lot of good beer on taps and the fried catfish and crab cakes are to die for.

4.5. Lovely waitress we were seated with no wait. 30 minutes later we would have waited. the food took 1 hour to come because of a 17 person table. so waitress said order an appetizer. I thought the shrimp appetizer might be free due to the wait, at least we has bread. Another restaurant "stoked" made me wait 1 hour 40 minutes after I ordered and we never got any food, not even bread as waiters fed birds on the deck, disgusting, Stoked.

Generally great food, yesterday not so much. My flounder was way over cooked. Still excellent service.

Food was amazing, staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! Even though they had a limited menu the service, atmosphere and food did not fall short. Family friendly environment, great music selection...I definitely recommend and will be back!

Olde Salty is the place to go in Carolina Beach. The crab legs, steamed shrimp, onion rings, coleslaw and potato salad are homemade and delicious! Everything we had was excellent and the service was quick and efficient.

Save your money and leave. This was the note written on the bathroom stall and they were right. We wasted $50 on a lunch that wasn’t worth it. They didn’t have a lot of the menu items and what they did have was over priced. Very customer was over 50 and a regular to the bar. Staff wasn’t overly friendly and seemed to want to just hang out with the regulars. Sign said wait to be seated but after five minutes they just yelled to find a seat from behind the bar. Go elsewhere.

The food was amazing and the blond hair girl with whole leg tattoo is best waitress I’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing there, I would recommend anybody wanting sea food or burgers and frys to eat there. Have a nice meal, drink a beer, and play some slots you won’t regret it.

Really nice staff. Initially thought we’d sit outside so they cleared us a table from a couple who had just left; however after being seated only a few minutes we decided inside would be better due to the humidity. It was early still so the place was mostly empty inside and they had no issue accommodating us. Somehow the kitchen mistook an order of chicken Florentine for chicken fingers but I went with it. The fingers were crisp but tasty. Wife’s hamburger steak was delicious and perfectly juicy. Cooked well done as requested but not charred in the least. It melted in the mouth and hours later I’m still salivating thinking about it. Kids wolfed down their burgers without complaint so I assume they were delicious too. The manager checked on us and recommended a new place for ice cream. Very friendly people so I’m giving them five stars despite the chicken mix up.

1st..There needs to be a negative button option. 2nd..Absolutely horrible, 2.5 hours that was wasted of my life! We arrived at 9 had no wait to be seated (and now I know why)but did not get our food until 1015. There was maybe 10 people total in the place. Service was rude and horrible. When our food came it was cold and had so much seasoning you could not eat it because it was so gross. We spoke to a 'Manager' who tried to say they were busy, unacceptable excuse especially when u had all of less than 10 people in the place. She offered to take $15 off a $115 bill..umm no, you lucky I was gonna pay anything for the frozen not fresh seafood, horrible a** service we received. Will never go back or recommend to anyone.

It's the best in Carolina Beach. The large salads with choice of seafoods are beyond delicious. Love Brenda.

We went with my family to the place, my daughters do not eat seafood, we brought a hamburger for them; but since we arrived we were discriminated against, saying if we were looking for the Mexican restaurant below. -I said no, we sipped Olde Salty, but the man said this is the place but you can't enter with food from somewhere else. apparently he had his excuse for not attending to us. Seeing the comments that the place has, it's good that we didn't waste our time and money there.

Everything was good. My son in law & daughter too me out to eat for Mother's Day,while also enjoying my grandsons.Ramona was an excellent waitress, she made our 1st time there wonderful. She was very attentive & professional. Thank u💜

Crab legs and peel and eat shrimp. Friendly locals, visited may 5th, not extremely busy. Excellent wait staff. I will definitely return.

worst place ever, i tried to place a order on the phone and had some questions. the man who answered wouldn't let me ask questions pertaining to the menu. then stated he was too busy to help me and hung up. then when i called back he didn't answer.

Great local bar atop a Mexican restaurant. Prices good for the food. Server didn't offer refills on our drinks, coke and water, but checked on everything else. Fried and steamed offerings on the seafood. Cajun ranch has a great kick to it for dipping everything. Would go back to try steamed shrimp next.

Our party of four came here because we wanted some seafood and the restaurant was not crowded. It took an hour for the food to come out and despite that the crab legs came out frozen. They eventually fixed it and the manager came to apologise and ended up comping our meal (thus upgrading to three stars from one). Once the food was cooked it was good and the portions we're generous.

I can't even express how awful this was. Don't do it. I'm a foodie and this place is the worst. I spent 126.00 and it was worth 50 cents maybe. The only good items were the drinks. Period!!!! My 9 year old said the catfish was good. So there's our positive!

Had a great time here on vacation. Came in with a party of 7 on Tuesday around noon. Good selection of beers. I had a local one to which I forgot the name of. It was a Belgian style. Good choice of seafood. The soft shell crab sandwhich was just perfect. There is a nice outdoor section where you get a great view of the little amusement park and beach.

Last time we went there was awful. Slow service and bad food. Don't waste your money or time

We love Olde Salty's! It's within walking distance of the beach. The bartender is so nice, and the drinks are always tasty. They do an awesome karaoke on Friday nights that we always go to. Prices are very reasonable!

Great place to grab a bite and enjoy one of the many on tap beers. Wendy, Jim and owner Lori are very helpful and ready to serve you!

Great place, one of the few with shrimp poboys and service was top notch. Even the owner came out to check and see if we were happy. Will definitely be back.
